While Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was great, it left a lot of us wanting more. We will get more of that sweet, sweet Metal Gear Solid goodness with The Phantom Pain and I got to see some of it while at E3. Although this was itself just a small portion of the game, it featured quite a few additions and also showed a bit of the wackiness that the series is known for.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be 200 times bigger than Ground Zeroes and feature a similar open world structure but on a larger scale than before. However, dont expect to have all the freedom in the world to do whatever you want like, say, Grand Theft Auto.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes opens in typical Metal Gear fashion complete with elaborate cutscenes detailing Snakes infiltration into an enemy base, a rousing musical score and series creator Hideo Kojimas campy dialogue Kept you waiting, huh?. But as the opening cutscene ends and the player finally gains control of the game, Ground Zeroes becomes anything but a typical Metal Gear experience. But is that a good or bad thing?
